The Allman Brothers Music Influence

A long time ago I was a Head Banger, more led Zeppelin Black Sabbath area.  Then one day I got turned onto the Allman Brothers Band,  Live at the Fillmore East  and I never looked Back.  This is the Band that got me Playing Music.  The Dickey & Duane era all through Derek & Warren.  Both those being my Fav's.  Many Shows being a fan to autographs afterwards.  When Fillmore hit my ears in 1974, Duane & Berry Oakley had already passed.  The energy from this band that came in the 70s & certainly post Duane era was electric intertwined notes.  In 78-79 they reformed after the 1976 break up, I missed that band but had tickets.  Danny Toler Guitarist with David Golflies on bass were the New Blood and Enlightened Rouges was the Album.  WOW... Just WOW.  Dangerous Dan Toler DDT, if you ever hear the Gregg Allman I'm No Angel Guitar Lick, he wrote that, anyway on & off they go the struggles of bands, til a Break up/ Hiatus in the 90s.

Started following Derek Trucks when he was 16 & the Prodigy name being thrown out, had many conversations before he became the Huge Slide Guitarist Act of today.  Yes he was that and much more of a player & Soul.  Derek is the Nephew of Uncle Butch Drummer from the Allman Brothers Band.  In 1999 Derek was Invited in as a Full time Player to the Allman Brother Band at age 18.  Im sure there are many who write the Lineage of the band better then me... Ha.

Anyway, during this time the internet was growing with Interest from the masses and two folks Lana & Rowland Archer who werent Married at the time but Now are... Started the Birth of Hittin the Web with the Allman Brothers and brought the late 60s Band into the Digital age, brought this Band Our Guys right into Our Living rooms.  Lots of Fun happened in those years on the Allman Site say 1996 thru 2014 by these folks, just way too much to list, stories of so much. Even now Old Friends stop by the Guest book who all used to participate in the early Digital Years.  Lana & Rowland, boy I miss those days IM sure you do too....  Lots of reading there, Beautiful Souls if anyone wants too stop in in visit, I placed a Link below.  These Folks took me onboard as a Hittin the Web Artist in 2003, helped me all thru my years...every One.
